Bronze Kalevala Kalevankarhu Pendant with Black Leather Cord, From Kalevala's 90th Anniversary Collection

The Kalevala Kalevankarhu pendant features a large bronze bear and a long black leather cord that can be tied to a suitable length. The cord length is 100 cm. The stylish Kalevankarhu pendant is made of warm-toned bronze, which radiates beautifully like gold. The bear in the pendant was designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 1990s, but the new model is slightly thinner and smaller. The front of the pendant features Kalevala Koru's 90th-anniversary stamp until the end of 2027.

The Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the motif draws from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear's form reflects the power of the forest and northern storytelling traditions. The renewed series brings a familiar theme to modern jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
