Silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu Necklace From the 90th-Anniversary Collection

In the silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu necklace, three small bear figures are placed side by side in the center of the chain. In this beautiful necklace, the motif designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 90s has been given a new, slightly smaller and less three-dimensional form than the original. The jewelry is made of bright silver, and the chain length is adjustable between 42, 45, and 50 cm. In 2027, Kalevala Koru will celebrate its 90th anniversary, so the front of the pendant features the Kalevala Koru 90th-anniversary stamp.

Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the motif draws inspiration from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear figure embodies the power of the forest and the northern storytelling tradition. The redesigned series brings the familiar motif to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
