Yellow Gold Kalevala Kalevankarhu Earrings From the 90th Anniversary Collection

In the golden Kalevala Kalevankarhu earrings, Kaisaleena Mäkelä's bear figure, designed in the 1990s, returns in a slightly smaller and flatter version. The small stud earrings are made of 14-carat yellow gold and sit beautifully on the earlobe. In 2027, Kalevala Jewelry celebrates its 90th anniversary, so the Kalevankarhu earrings have returned to commemorate this milestone. The jewelry features an anniversary stamp on the back, which will be used until the end of 2027.

The Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the motif draws from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear's form embodies the power of the forest and the northern storytelling tradition. The updated series brings this familiar motif to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
