Silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu Pendant From the 90th Anniversary Collection

The silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu pendant features a small bear designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 1990s. In the anniversary edition, however, the bear is smaller and flatter than the original. The pendant is made of silver and comes with a chain that can be adjusted to lengths of 38, 41, and 45 cm. The beautiful Kalevankarhu pendant is perfect for everyday wear and also makes a lovely gift. The piece will bear the Kalevala Koru 90th anniversary stamp from autumn -26 until the end of -27.

Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the theme draws from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear's form embodies the power of the forest and northern storytelling traditions. The renewed series brings a familiar theme to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
