Kalevala Jewellery Häiväoja I ring

Designed by Häiväoja, these ultra-modern silver jewellery pieces look just as futuristic today as they did over half a century ago. Autumn 2019 Kalevala Two silver rings designed by Paula Häiväoja in the 1960s return to the jewellery collection. The rings are not only examples of Häiväoja's distinctive design language, but also a snapshot of the open-mindedness and forward-looking spirit of 1960s Finnish design.

The rings are made to order and delivery takes approximately 2-4 weeks.

Paula Häiväoja (1929 - 2011) was Kalevala The first female jewellery designer. She graduated as a fashion artist from the School of Art and Design in 1953 and started her career as a fashion artist. Kalevala Koru three years later. Häiväoja worked as head designer from 1963 until 1967, when she became a freelance designer and opened her own studio.
