With Lumoava, it is possible, because the brand makes its jewellery from recycled silver and gold. Thus, the piece of jewellery you gave as a gift could previously have been, for example, a silver coffee spoon, which has since been melted down, the precious metal recovered and new products made from it to delight someone else in its new form.

In silver jewellery, Lumoava uses 93% recycled silver. The amount of recycled gold in gold jewellery is up to 99%. The brand also collects all the precious metal dust generated during the manufacturing process, which can be used again after being sent for cleaning. The diamonds are bought from a Finnish broker who guarantees a responsible supply chain. Similarly, the other small parts of the jewellery, which the brand does not manufacture itself, come from responsible suppliers.

Enchanting Hali - beautiful and timeless heart jewellery

The Lumoava Hali series was born from the idea of ​​making a heart that would be completely different and stand out from the traditional model. Designer Heikki Hartikainen says that he first sketched a normal heart on paper, from which the model slowly began to transform into something different from the traditional one. This is how the Lumoava Hali was born, a piece of jewellery in which two hearts connect to each other like a warm hug and whose surface is delightfully vacant in its smoothness.

The Hali series includes rubber spoons, graceful stud earrings, bracelets and more spectacular pendants. Therefore, it is easy to find a gift from a baby to an elderly person in the Lumoava Hali collection. As the name suggests, Halin can be given to anyone. In 2014, Hali also supported the New Children's Hospital project, which is about to be completed.
