Silver Kalevala Itu Necklace with Yellow Gold Plating and Murano Glass Pearl

The Kalevala Itu series is inspired by new life growing from seeds, small versions that push out from the soft soil of forests and the small cracks of asphalt-covered streets. The Itu jewelry series reflects nature's unyielding ability and quiet perseverance to survive, grow and renew. It tells the story of the hidden power of nature that lies within each of us.

The Itu jewelry series, designed by designer and artist Martin Bergström, showcases the artist's unique way of depicting natural elements and abstract shapes in a unique way. The sculptural Itu necklace represents the statement design of the collection. The necklace has a striking yellow gold-plated part with a jagged organic surface. A beautiful white Murano glass pearl is attached to the jagged surface, made by Nina Diaz-Halonen in her own studio in Helsinki. The necklace is made of silver, which is partially yellow gold-plated. The length of the necklace is adjustable to three different lengths: 40, 42 or 45 cm.
