The Leijona Hoods Skatta watch collection refers to Katajanokka, district in Helsinki. The watch recalls Katajanokka’s eventful history, including its period from 1924 to 1936 when it served as an airport, and its journey from a hub of cargo traffic to a district where only the occasional arrival of cruise ships at the harbor serves as a reminder of the area's busy past. The combination of the Pitch Black -watch’s soot-black coloring and the nato-strap evokes the atmosphere of the petroleum-scented air at the southeastern tip of Katajanokka, where an airport once thrived. This setting encapsulates a significant part of Finnish aviation history.

The dark Leijona Hoods Skatta watch has a black steel case and a black nato bracelet and a black dial with light indices and hands. The dial is protected by strong sapphire glass. The Miyota 8215 automatic movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and has a screw-locking knob.
